Quality & Validation / First Article Inspection
A full dimensional first article against your drawing, before production.
You get a First Article Inspection report that measures every characteristic on your ballooned drawing — dimensions, GD&T, and notes — using calibrated CMM and optical metrology, with material and process certifications attached.
We work from your ballooned drawing, or balloon it with you, and report each characteristic against its number, with the calibrated instrument and method recorded for every measurement — so your incoming-inspection team can reconcile the report line for line.
The FAI is signed off before the production run, so the first parts you receive already carry a verified, documented baseline.
FAI is the bridge between a print and a production lot. Paired with IQ/OQ/PQ validation and lot traceability, it gives your quality team the records a Device History Record depends on.
If a characteristic drifts out of tolerance later, the FAI is the baseline you measure that drift against — which is why we lock it before the first lot ships, not after.
